Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The work is originally created by the author(s). All work will be checked against software designed to detect plagiarism.

  • The work in its entirety has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in comments to the editor).
  • The author(s) have reviewed and complied with the guidelines for written submissions or the guidelines for audio and visual submissions.

  • All references have been appropriately cited according to the APA Style (7th ed.).

  • The abstract is no longer than 250 words and includes a list of at least 3 keywords.
  • Written submissions are no longer than 7,000 words (excluding the reference list). Video submissions are no longer than 30 minutes.
  • The submitted file is in the appropriate file format as per the guidelines for written submissions or the guidelines for audio and visual submissions.

  • The submitted file is appropriate for ensuring an anonymous peer review. This means that you have removed any and all author information from the body of the work as well as the document properties.
